Basic Footloose Information

The summer program features more than a dozen events, including day sailing on the lake, a race regatta, and an overnight cruise across Puget Sound to Blake Island. In the winter, the organization holds several social activities, as well as focuses on fundraising.

Footloose Sailing Association is comprised of over 200 participants, volunteers, and board members. Funds for the 501C3 non-profit are from memberships and donations. We could not operate if it was not for the generous contributions from interested individuals and businesses, the sailing community, boat yards, and yacht clubs. Please visit our support page to view those who have donated.

FSA is one of only a handful of organizations on the west coast that provide access to sailing for people with disabilities. As an ASA affiliate, Footloose offers basic and intermediate sailing training with adaptive modifications.

Footloose is a chapter of Disabled Sports Usa (DS/USA).
